Pompano Beach has a fish with your name on it, so let American Made Charters help you catch it!
These waters are known for Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bonito, Cobia, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Black Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few!
On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Doug can also show you kite fishing.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your trip begins aboard a 35’ Center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, time to hit the water with American Made Charters!
