The waters of San Pedro are brimming with life, so come and explore them with Freedom Tours – Fishing Unlimited! Captain Gilbert Lara is a local fisherman, born and raised on La Isla Bonita, and he’ll make sure to show you all the best fishing spots in the area.
Fishing Unlimited is a 25’ cruiser boat custom-built for reef fishing in the area. It’s equipped with a canopy to keep you sheltered from the sun and a livewell for your bait. The boat can navigate the reefs with ease, and is fitted out with all the USCG requirements to keep you safe on your trip.
Capt. Gilbert will provide you with rods and reels, as well as all the bait you’ll need for a productive trip. After the trip, the crew will clean your catch and fillet any way you like so you can get it cooked for you in one of the great restaurants on the seashore.
Due to San Pedro’s proximity to the reef, you can start fishing within minutes of leaving the shore. Waters of 600 to 2000 feet deep can be accessed quickly and easily, allowing you to start trolling and bottom fishing almost straight away. The area is known for its variety of fun fighting fish, such as Grouper, King Mackerel, Snapper, Barracuda, Jack, Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi-mahi, and Sailfish.
Capt. Gilbert’s large fleet of custom-built boats will accommodate anglers of every level of experience, allowing guests to try a variety of types of fishing with a captain they have grown to trust.
All trips include soft drinks, water, and ice – you just need to bring your own snacks and sunscreen! No matter if you are fishing or snorkeling, Captain Hilly Boo’s boat has you covered full insurance! There is a 12.5% government sales tax that goes with each tour.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 30 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
