Come have your newest fishing adventure in the waters of San Pedro with Freedom Tours – Mister B! Captain Gilbert Lara, a local fisherman born on La Isla Bonita, will show all the best places in the area and make sure you have a great time.
Mister B is a 22’ custom-built vessel designed to reach the reefs and channels around San Pedro quickly and efficiently. Powered by two 250 HP Yamaha engines, this boat can speed out to the grounds in a matter of minutes, allowing you to truly enjoy the freedom of being out on the water. There’s a canopy to keep you sheltered from the sun.
All the fishing equipment you’ll need will be provided for you on board, including rods, reels, and bait. Capt. Gilbert will be more than happy to clean and fillet your catch for you, and you can take it to any of the great seashore restaurants to cook it.
Thanks to San Pedro’s proximity to the reef, the fishing grounds are minutes away from the shore. Waters of 600 to 2000 feet deep where you can troll and bottom fish can be accessed quickly and easily. Once at the fishing grounds, you’ll be in with a chance of tackling a variety of fun fighting fish such as Grouper, King Mackerel, Snapper, Barracuda, Jacks, Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Sailfish.
Capt. Gilbert’s large fleet of custom-built boats allow anglers of every level of experience to experience all the diverse fishing opportunities Belize has to offer. All trips include bait, tackle, soft drinks, water, and ice – you just need to bring your own snacks and sunscreen! No matter if you are fishing or snorkeling, Capt. Gilbert’s boat has full insurance. There is a 12.5% government sales tax with each tour.
