Come on aboard with Capt. Michael, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use the fly fishing technique, due to the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 8-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Cutthroat Trout, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.

All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.

Fishtales Outfitting offers only catch and release trips, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water.

The price of your trip also includes complimentary snacks, drinks, and lunch, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests.

I grew up in the woods, learning hunting and fly fishing in Connecticut. With my grandfather as my mentor, an avid outdoorsmen and Connecticut State Park constable I honed my Trout fly fishing skills. I spent a season in Southwest Alaska which opened possibilities to Southwest Montana and its endless wild Trout streams. I ultimately settled down in Sheridan, where my wife Theresa and I raise our two children and a yellow labrador named Maggie.
