Sons Up Charters is a family-run business, so Captain Mike welcomes
guests of all ages, including children. He’s committed to making every

his patience, knowledge, and entertaining personality make him a
favorite among anglers and families alike.

You’ll be cruising the waters on a top-of-the-line 27’ Cape Horn
center console with twin 200 HP Suzuki engines, using state-of-the-art
radar navigation technology, Simrad GPS, and a Bluetooth radio with
speakers to keep the tunes going all day long. And with high-quality
new rods and reels, outriggers, and a trolling motor, you’ll have
everything you need to reel in the big catch.

Speaking of the catch, there are plenty of fish to be had in these
waters, including Grouper, Snapper, Mackerel, Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi,
Triggerfish, Amberjack, Cobia, Flounder, and more. Plus, you’ll get up
close and personal with dolphins and sharks!

Captain Mike provides all the fishing gear, lures, life jackets, and
fishing licenses, and will even clean your catch for you so you can
take it home and enjoy a delicious seafood dinner. All you need to
bring are some snacks, drinks, and plenty of sunscreen!

    You'll go farther out, and the farther you go the better the fishing gets. We use several methods to catch fish such as sight fishing, slow pitch/vertical jigging, trolling, and bottom-fishing! We will spend 8 hours fishing for various species such as Grouper, Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Triggerfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Amberjack, and more. This can be a hard-core fisherman charter and also a full day of family fun or a mix of both. Price includes all equipment, bait, tackle, licenses, and fish cleaning!

I've been fishing my entire life! I've been fishing all over from fly fishing float trips in New Mexico, fishing the lakes in Canada, the Great lakes, deep sea fishing on both coasts, and the Florida panhandle. I have an extensive military background, but fishing has always been my passion that will never go away. My absolutely favorite thing is to get families and little ones on the boat to experience fishing. I love it when someone catches a fish and that's why my goal is to make sure everyone has a blast on every trip!
