Josh put us on a variety of the best species you can catch. The windy weather was not in our favor and Josh was still able to find us some awesome calm spots and try a variety of techniques. My son Ian and I had a great day fishing with Josh on his professionally equipped Maverick. My son just starting fishing with flyrod. Josh was very patient giving Ian some pointers as well as putting us on the fish in several back country locations. He knew exactly where they would be.  Ian caught 3 nice tarpon, a big snook and several other smaller species on our trip. There aren’t enough words to describe how much fun we had on our trip.  We requested a couple species on our bucket list to catch and Capt. Josh put us on them in less than 15 minutes.  Not only did he put us on our target fish, he was also a really cool guy to hang out with.  This was our anniversary getaway to southern Florida and our fishing excursion was definitely the highlight of our entire trip.  We can’t recommend Josh enough.

Took my son fishing and the first thing Josh did was ask my son if he had a particular fish that he really wanted to catch.  My son said he’s always wanted to catch a snook.  So that became Josh’s focus.  We had a great day.  Caught the snook!  And many other fish!  Highly recommend!

Captain put us on our target and worked very hard to make our day great. Very knowledgeable captain. We learned a lot on this trip. We will definitely be back for another trip, I would recommend this captain to anyone who is looking to fish the backcountry.
