Gulf Coast Backcountry Charters is owned and operated by Captain Fabian Santos Jr, a Florida native, who from a young age has been inshore, and backcountry fishing.
When you book a trip with Captain Fabian you will get to experience some of the Nature Coast’s most pristine flats and mangrove backcountry.
Captain Fabian is guiding on a 2018 Maverick HPX S which allows him to navigate the shallow flats, and backcountry with ease and a comfortable dry ride for his guest.
Once you book a trip, and the day comes to fish, the adventure starts! From poling through a maze of mangrove creeks to staking out on a flat you will spend the day stalking and catching Redfish, Snook, Black Drum, Seatrout, seasonal Tarpon, and other inshore species.
The skiff is equipped with some of the best rods, and tackle available. For the fly fisherman, Orvis fly rods and reels are supplied along with personally tied flies that are proven to work in this area. For the spin tackle, Bull Bay rods and Shimano reels are provided, and all other needed bait or tackle.
All fishing licenses and permits are included, so come enjoy the day with Captain Fabian.
