If you plan on fishing in Homestead, look no further than Pescatarian Fishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Pedro is prepared to put you on fish.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Swordfish, Mutton Snapper, Black Grouper, Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Tilefish, Amberjack, Red Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, Cubera Snapper, Lane Snapper, and anything else that bites. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your adventure begins aboard a 29’ Ocean Runner center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don’t leave home without bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
Now, come aboard with Pescatarian Fishing and get hooked!
