Tidewater Fishing Charters

224 Treasure Beach Road
St. Augustine FL, United States

Tidewater Fishing Charters specializes in inshore light tackle fishing in the beautiful, untouched bays around St Augustine. They tend to run their trips in beautiful, natural surroundings where you can relax into nature and often go for miles without seeing a single house. In fact, Capt. Noah D. White usually aims to guide his guests to the prettier parts of the intercoastal waterways, following the fish to areas mostly untouched by humans.

Capt. Noah offers a variety of trips aboard his brand new 2017 22 ft Tidewater Carolina Bay boat, a vessel that gives a very dry ride. The quiet, reliable four-stroke Yamaha outboard engine supplies plenty of power, and Garmin navigational electronics aid the captain in guiding you to fish. There is plenty of room for up to four anglers, and the boat has ample storage for your belongings. A versatile boat, it is great for fishing the inshore creeks and flats, as well as fast runs to nearby offshore reefs.

A fishing trip with Tidewater Fishing Charters will involve fishing for a variety of species that inhabit the intercoastal areas around St. Augustine. These might include Redfish, Flounder, Trout and Black Drum depending on the season, while some anglers might enjoy traveling further out into the ocean to target Cobia, Tarpon and Kingfish in season. Tidewater Safari uses premium live baits including shrimp, finger mullet, pogies (menhaden) or mudminnows.  They carry a variety of lures by Rappala and Mirrolure, and the use of high quality Shimano reels and rods by Star and Key Largo is included in all charter trips.

About the Captain

Noah D. White
St. Augustine, Florida, United States
Member since December 2015
Capt. Noah grew up in the Panhandle Florida coast, where he began fishing as a kid with his dad. During his teen years he became obsessed with surfing, and he moved to St Augustine after high school to be around more consistent surf. There he found that techniques on the northern gulf coast are pretty much the same as in northeast Florida, making it a seamless transition. Capt. Noah has always had boats and has always had an arsenal of rods and tackle. It seemed natural to begin guiding. He spends almost every day on the water, sometimes to just scout. This is essential in the backcountry creeks and oyster flats in the area, and makes all the difference between one guide from another. Noah doesn't just fish the rocks and docks, but prefers to put in the hard work to stay on top of the fish in the backcountry. This is far more rewarding, and will leave lasting memories. He looks forward to showing you the best of the St. Augustine and the First Coast.

Had a great time fishing with Captain Noah,  We we’re fortunate enough to get a few red snapper as well as several king fish. The seas were a little rough for land lubbers like us but any day on the ocean is a good day and when you catch fish it becomes a great day. Thanks for helping create such a precious memory.

Noah is the standard that other guides should strive for. He has the ability to teach a novice or entertain an old salty. We highly recommend his services!
