Running angling trips out of Boulder City, Hooked On Stripers invites you to check out the local fishery in style.

Capt. Ray aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, bow fishing, spearfishing, and spinning. You’re looking at 6-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Striped Bass, Catfish, Smallmouth Bass, and Carp, depending on the weather and time of year.

You’ll be fishing from a 19’ Tracker boat with enough room for up to 3 anglers at any single time. It also includes a wireless trolling motor. There’s an option to accommodate more people using a different boat, if you’d like to do so, please get in touch with the captain beforehand.

When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.

You are welcome to keep what you catch just remember to bring a cooler.

You’ll find free snacks, and drinks on the boat for your convenience, but you’re always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to. Just remember no alcohol or glass containers.

    Depending on the season your trip might start with catching some live bait to use while vertical fishing. Or we may cruise the shoreline keeping our eyes peeled for striper boils. Either way you'll be going after some hard fighting and good eating fish. Have your cameras ready to capture some great photos and make memories on Lake Mead !

    You'll be cruising the shoreline looking for invasive carp on a boat outfitted specifically for bowfishing at night. Using either a bow or a spear you'll spot your quarry, take aim, then let loose your weapon. Playing a fish as large as a carp is quite a thrill. Lake managers from Arizona and Nevada encourage the harvesting of as many invasive carp as possible.

    We'll start the trip cruising to a spot where we will catch live bait to use the rest of the night. Next we'll cruise to one of our "secret" spots and set anchor and prepare for our night of fishing. We use lights to attract a bait ball which then attracts the larger fish we're after. Get ready, cause once the action starts it can be non stop action for everyone in the boat !
