It was our first time venturing out on an ocean fishing trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience than the one we had with Captain Dale. From the moment we stepped aboard, he was warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient with us first-timers. Dale took his time teaching us how to properly handle the fishing rods, repeating the steps until we felt comfortable and confident.

While the conditions were perfect, the action started off slow. But Dale kept things exciting by taking us to several of his favorite fishing spots. His expertise really stood out as he adjusted our techniques and moved us around, ensuring we had the best shot at a great catch. By the end of the day, each of us managed to reel in some beautiful salmon, making it an experience we’ll never forget.

Dale wasn’t just knowledgeable—he made sure everyone had fun and stayed engaged the whole time. Whether you’re a complete beginner like we were, or someone with more experience, I can’t recommend his charters enough. I’ll definitely be booking again once my exams are out of the way!

Me and my son had a fantastic time with Dale, fishing out of Williamstown.
It was a slow start (weather wasn’t kind) but Dale persevered and we visited several of his hot spots, with my son hooking up first on his PB pinkie and finishing on a rather tasty looking pike.
I myself landed a couple of pinkies and a pike not to mention Dale caught a Morton bay bug on a bait!

Dale was really great in accommodating and helping us through out the trip. He is so friendly and active. He taught us tiredlessly multiple times how to use the fishing rod. We will come back next time.

Great charter for families; Dale was super helpful showing us and the kids the best techniques for different catches, and ensured the kids felt like full participants in the experience, while very efficiently keeping the rods rigged up to maximise our fishing time. He was also happy to try various approaches to getting a catch which meant the day was constantly interesting and the time flew. Highly recommend Dale and his charter.
