Wild Ace Outfitters runs fishing trips out of Ennis and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about!

Your guide Austin will do his best to ensure you have a fun day full of fishing. Wild Ace specializes in fly fishing, ice fishing, and spin fishing on up to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Cutthroat Trout depending on the season and conditions of the day.

His guide boat accommodates up to 2 fishermen. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, tackle, and lunch. Please keep in mind you’ll need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip.

There will be complimentary snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and lunch aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer something else.

    Enjoy a day on the Ice on beautiful Ennis lake. Lunch and all necessary fishing gear provided. You will need warm clothes and boots, and a fishing license. If Ice conditions are not safe, you will receive a full refund and the trip will not go. The price is 400, up to 4 people. More people can be added at 50 a piece. Gratuity not included.

Born and raised in Belgrade, Montana, I moved to Ennis, MT with my wife, Callan, in 2019. We wanted to continue a life in the outdoors with our dogs and knew Ennis was the town for us. I have been guiding since 2012 in the Madison Valley and am as excited for the next 10 years as the last. At Wild Ace Outfitters, we strive to educate and teach as well as have fun wherever we are! Your day (or days) with us are going to be about more than fishing, we want you to leave feeling like you know the outdoors just a little bit better than when you set foot on our boat.
