Decided to book a trip with Captain Luis after watching his meet the captain video. He was warm, inviting and friendly when we arrived at the dock and his hospitality continued throughout the trip. He definitely knows the area and how to fish it and knows alot about the fish he’s after. It’s very obvious that he loves what he does and is very passionate about it. We had 7 hook ups with tarpon but only managed to land one, mostly due to my errors. He even kept us out for an extra half hour because he really wanted me to land a tarpon, and finally it happened! Great guy, I would book with him again in a heartbeat. If you’re in the area looking to fish inshore, offshore, reef, or whatever, he’s your guy!

Luis was our captain today for our 4 hour PM trip. He was great with our 2 sons especially helping them understand the area and techniques we were using. He provided everything we needed for the trip. We even forgot sunscreen but Luis had that covered. My youngest was starting to get a little overheated and needed to get more shade, Luis gave him his hat to wear to keep the sun out of his eyes. Luis stayed out longer for us to make sure that both boys got an opportunity to reel in a big tarpon! Overall awesome experience and would highly recommend Luis to anyone coming here to fish! We hope we get the opportunity again! Thanks a bunch Luis for the great afternoon.
