Depending on the season, you might hook into Sailfish, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel, Cobia, Mutton Snapper, Amberjack, Grouper, Bonito, Great Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, and plenty more. You’ll target your catch by trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Philip can also show you kite fishing.
Hop aboard the spacious 45’ Post boat, a 1983 classic, fully restored in 2020. You will be using the top-of-the-line equipment and electronics to really dial in on those bucket list sport fish. Sit back and relax in the air-conditioned salon while you wait for the bite. Monitor the Fishfinder with the crew from the 32-inch screen in the salon. Sometimes you see the fish right before the bite! You’ll have the help of a First Mate to make the most of your trip. It’s customary to offer them a 10%–20% gratuity.
You can bring home the fish you catch, assuming regulations allow it. The crew will properly filet and vacuum-seal your catch to transport it home and to the dinner table. Capt. Philip will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures, and there will be drinks on board. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, which means all you have to do is show up ready for a good time!
