Hooked Up – Saginaw River Jigging
Book your next trip with Hooked Up Sport Fishing and find out what you’re missing in Bay City.
Depending on the time of year, you will hook into Walleye and possibly Catfish. During this trip, you will primarily be jigging.
Feel free to take home any fish you catch, assuming they meet regulations. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Talk about bang for your buck! Rods, reels, and tackle are provided.
People in your group will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
It’s recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask.
