Excited to cast a line in Arona? Marco Polo is here to make it happen! Captain Nicola will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of sportfishing experience.

Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Amberjack, Wahoo,Great Barracuda, Bonito, Dentex, Mahi Mahi, Goliath Grouper, Bluefish, Bluenose Warehou, and more inhabit these waters if you come at the right time of year.

For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Nicola also offers Flounder gigging. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

You’re free to take home some of the fish you catch, so long as it’s legal. Capt. Nicola can even clean your catch for you. Bring a cooler ready in the car!

Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10%–20% tip at the end of the day is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!

Don’t forget to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Capt. Nicola will have some drinks available for you.
