Erie West Sportfishing – Detroit River

Here’s your chance to experience the famous spring Walleye run on the Detroit River. All fishing is done by vertical jigging with quality rods, reels, and tackle that are all supplied by the captain. You can bring home any fish you catch within the legal limit. Fish cleaning is available on-site. How’s that for fresh seafood?

Your Walleye jigging adventure will be on board the 18’ Lund boat, equipped with navigation gear. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this, so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. You’ll need to buy a local fishing license before the trip.

Trips with Erie West Sportfishing are fun for all ages, so bring the kids aboard and get them hooked while they’re young! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks and drinks, as well as sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses.
