These waters are home to Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish, King Mackerel, Mutton Snapper, Black Grouper, Amberjack, and more, depending on the conditions. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.

Any fish within the legal limit is yours to take with you. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan. Enjoy it later that day, or pack it away for months into the future. A few items you'll want to bring include sunscreen (NONSPRAY ONLY) Sprays stain the boat…. sunglasses, and bottled water. There will be bottled water onboard for your convenience. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask.

Your boat for the day will be a 25' Angler, which can accommodate 4 guests…plus 2 forva extra charge. Captain Nathan has rods and reels for you, and there's no need to buy a fishing license. All you have to do is show up ready for a good time. Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask, and your captain can tell you more.

great fishing trip

We booked with Captain Nate and so happy we did! Everything was amazing! seas were too rough the day of our trip so we stayed in the intercostal and still had great fishing. it was my 12yo (has a relatively new passion for fishing) AuADHD son’s first charter and first time not fishing from shore of a lake. Captain Nate was so kind and really taught my son how to successfully reel in some great fish. My son is working on his fishing Merit Badge for Scouts and Capt Nate taught him how to fillet the fish when we got back to shore. my son who literally gags when he had tried fish before not only cooked his catch for us but he loved it so much! we had such a blast that we already booked a second trip while we are in town and we have decided this will be a yearly trip with Capt Nate- maybe more often if we can get to South Florida more! Don’t hesitate to book with capt Nate and Angle Drop!

HALF DAY/LIVE BAIT FOR SAILFISH PM on January 25, 2026 • 3 adults

Capt Nate was great! Our group was about adding the chance to get/see a Sailfish up close and Capt delivered! ~75” beauty in the boat with a out of the water jump while bringing her in. Was a tough day with slim action and rough seas but Capt’s tierless efforts payed off. All well worth it!

We took our son down to Florida to go on a fishing charter. It was way better than I expected. Caption Nate made sure all our needs were met and helped our son really get the full experience of out shore fishing. Will definitely be back!

We booked a trip with Captain Nate while on vacation from NJ. Nate was friendly, professional, and a blast to be out on the water with. Captain Nate managed to put us on fish even when many other boats in the area seemed to have difficulty finding any action. We had an amazing trip with Angle Drop Charters! Captain Nathan was fantastic—patient, friendly, and especially great with the kids. He took the time to explain everything so everyone felt comfortable and confident out on the water. The highlight of the day was reeling in a massive barracuda, which made the trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!
