If you’re ready to discover fishing in Mount Pleasant, book a trip with Richards’ Fishing Charters!
Amberjack, Black Drum, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Spadefish, Cobia, Swordfish, Vermilion Snapper, and many more can be found in these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit are yours to keep. Capt. Jonathan can even clean your catch for you. Enjoy it later that day, or pack it away for months into the future.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, snacks, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks available on board.
Your day begins aboard a 28’ Center console with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without, plus a toilet on board. Capt. Jonathan will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to assist you and make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 20% at the end of the day to show your appreciation. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Now, time to hit the water with Richards’ Fishing Charters!
