The Angler Fleet – Angler III

Discover the riches of some of the East Coast’s best fishing grounds with The Angler Fleet. Hit the Long Island Sound, and discover the incredible fish that wash up in this industry, as you get your fish on like never before.

Captain Ken Tokar runs four boats out of Port Washington, NY, and knows every corner of these fishing grounds. He promises a productive trip to sea, with attention to detail like no other, as you go after a range of exciting and delicious fish.

The Angler III is a 50’ USCG-inspected yacht, that is licensed to carry up to 38 passengers. This boat makes an ideal party or function vessel, featuring a cozy cabin with a galley that can serve hot and cold food as well as snacks and drinks. Take advantage of the ample seating both inside and on the spacious walk-around deck, and a clean head that will ensure your comfort throughout the trip.

Go after some of the most prized creatures the shallow waters of the East Coast can offer. Battle it out with monster Striped Bass – or, as the locals call it, Rockfish – along with delicious Flounder, Black Seabass, Bluefish, and Tautog. Don’t forget to keep your eye out for small Sharks, Sea Robins, and Lobsters that are sure to provide an entertaining catch for the kids on board too.

All trips with The Angler Fleet come with all the latest fishing equipment included, along with ice and safe dockside parking. This family-oriented business welcomes anglers of all levels of ability, with children particularly encouraged to grab a rod and get fishing. The excellent crew will always be on hand to explain what you need to do and when you need to do it, providing a fish filleting service at the end of the trip, too.

With everything needed for a productive day awaiting you on board, the only question is when are you coming?

The Angler Fleet was born in 2002, when "The Angler," a 1964 Brownell Eldridge McGuiness, was bought by Capt. Ken Tokar. Since then, the original Angler has been sold on to a new home, with 4 other boats being gradually accrued to take her place. These range from the 25' Angler Xpress right through to the 60' Angler IV. All boats are USCG inspected and feature a wide range of navigational electronics to allow them to fish the Western Long Island Sound. The crew focuses on providing an informative and courteous service, which attracts the company's many repeat customers to come back time and again.
