Atlantic Ark Azores is here to help you experience the stunning waters of the Azores.
These waters are known for Mackerel, Triggerfish, Wahoo, Great Barracuda, Common Pandora, Gurnard, Lionfish, and more. For these species, you’ll likely bottom fish using light tackle and share the catch with the crew. For more details, ask the captain.
You’ll step aboard a 21’ Pilothouse with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are not included, so contact the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures, as well. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it beforehand, so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Bringing bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray) is always a good idea. Drinks and snacks will be available for you.
Now, time to hit the water with Atlantic Ark Azores!
