We recently had the pleasure of booking a fishing trip with Captain Craig and his crew, and it was an experience our family will cherish forever. Our kids were down from Michigan, and our 15-year-old son, who absolutely loves fishing, was thrilled with the entire adventure.

We chose Captain Craig based on glowing reviews and his engaging videos, and he truly lived up to the hype. From the moment we stepped on board, Captain Craig and his crew were incredibly personable and made us feel right at home. They explained everything in detail, ensuring we all understood and were comfortable with the fishing process. Their enthusiasm was infectious, keeping everyone engaged and excited throughout the trip.

Captain Craig knew all the best spots and allowed everyone to participate in as much as we wanted, making sure everyone had a fantastic time. It was evident that the crew enjoyed the experience just as much as we did, which added to the overall enjoyment of the day.

We will definitely be back for another fishing adventure with Captain Craig and highly recommend Drop Off Fishing to anyone looking for an unforgettable fishing trip.

Capt Craig and crew didn’t disappoints.  Booked several months before the charter, he recommend the Perry Hotel which is at the same marina and was also awesome.  I walked out my patio door and could see the boat!  Capt Craig was super prompt to answer questions and knew this was a family outing with safety being the priority.  He can’t control Mother Nature and we talked prior to the charter about storms, and cancellations.  Thankfully the weather was amazing, calm seas, light winds, and 16 mahi later the trip is something we’ll never forget.  He even recommended ways to get the catch, which they filleted and bagged back to the upper Midwest.  If you want to ship it Finz is only 4 minutes from the marina and can take care of you.  Amazing experience and we will be back for more adventures.

This was a great two days of Fishing. We booked (2) ½ day charters. Our group consisted of me (42 yoa), my dad (72 yoa) and son (8 yoa). I requested that we target fish species that would be appropriate for my 8 yoa son; in which the Captain gladly complied. We limited out on Yellowtail Snapper both days, caught Mutton Snapper, King Mackerel, Spanish mackerel, and three nurse sharks. Captain Hassell and crew were great to work with. We are Novice fisherman and they provided good tips and instruction without sounding condescending. They were also FANTASTIC with my 8 yoa son and spent time giving him great education about the fish species and their different characteristics. If you have young kids, they are a great Charter to go with. But, they would be great for young and old clients. The boat was very clean with an ice cold air conditioner and clean bathroom. The Air Condition was great for my dad to take a break in. A great perk to have on a trip! We’ll definitely book again with “Drop Off Sportfishing” in the future and recommend others due the same.

First the captain and crew worked their butts off making sure we were comfortable and all lines and bait were out and fresh. Working against a full moon the night before. They never gave up. Landed a mahi short, then a keeper. After that a 18 lb bull mahi put on a show with an aerial and hard fight. Then a huge barracuda. Finished the trip off with a huge school of yellow tails and a lemon shark trying to steal our dinner.

Craig and Bret were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make mine and my brothers shared birthday one for the books! We caught a cooler full of yellow fin snapper to kick us off then out to deeper water where we caught a huge barracuda, a Bonita, a couple of grouper (one we had to tag team), and i got my dream sail fish 76”! I fought him all the way up to the boat where Bret wrestled him onboard!! It was one of the most fun and exciting days of my life! The ocean was a little rough but Craig made sure we were safe and focused on finding the best spots. I cannot thank these two more, the memories will be treasured for our lifetime!!! 10/10 highly recommend!
