Captain Joe took my wife and I out for a 4 hour trip. He taught us so much about the area’s we were in, the history of the area, elaborate details about each kind of fish caught, (there were a lot!)  even a 6 ft plus Nurse Shark! Joe comes from a family of teachers and he taught us a tremendous amount of information and answered dozens of questions. We would recommend Captain Joe to anyone!! Thanks, Captain Joe!!

We’ve met with a very friendly, Captain Joseph, at the start of the trip. Very enthusiastic, thoughtful and courteous. Very knowledgeable as well. He would give out facts about the place and its surroundings which are very interesting. It’s 20+minutes to the spot, anchored and got set up right away with the chum, baits, and the rods. It didn’t take long before we catch our first fish and the place he took us to, gave us an abundance of different type of species- red groupers, lane snapper, yellow snapper, red snapper, mackerels, tons of ballyhoo, catfish, etc. The Captain is always right there and ready to give you bait, set of new hooks or litter when needed, taking the fish out of the hook, putting it back to the sea, etc. And he doesn’t ran out of things to talk about and share along his tricks of the trade. It was a fun trip and one that we will never forget.

After coming down to the Florida Keys every year in the last 20 years, this is was the best fishing charter ever. Captain Joseph was attentive to all four us. He took his time to show us the fishing techniques. He explained how tell the difference between the fish species. Typical Eagle Scout.

He made sure we all enjoyed the day. Took us to a sandbar near public island and we spent over 2 hours enjoying the water plus scenery. We caught 10 + fishes in a single spot and just 3 hours. It was the perfect ending to day, as we saw a family of dolphins on the way back to the dock. Joseph slowed down the boat in order for us to enjoy the dolphins. If you are looking for charter in the Keys, I would highly recommend Sandbar Somewhere Charter and Captain Joseph.

Wife and I chartered Joseph to take us out and everything was great. The captain was great explaining all of the fish we caught and techniques, boat was new and huge for the two of us, and we hit two of his favorite spots and almost limited out on snapper. He was a baiting machine that always wanted our lines in the water fishing during the four hours we were out there.  We Ubered from Key West to Summerland Key which was an added expense - but all told still far cheaper than any Key West charter. This is a super value deal that Joseph offers and highly recommended!

Capt. Joseph was amazing! Handled Our party of 4 with ease, cutting bait, baiting our lines, providing instructions on how to fish (several of us were nubies to the fishing world)! He was very knowledgeable of the area describing birds, wildlife & fish, even the military blimp’s. Had a fabulous day, loved it! Thanks Capt. Joseph
