Sandbar Somewhere Charter
There’s a fish with your name on it in Big Pine Key and Sandbar Somewhere Charter will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Joseph can tell you all about the local fishery.
Mangrove Snapper, Great Barracuda, Lemon Shark, Bull Shark, Blacktip Shark, Mutton Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Yellowtail Snapper, Lane Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go.
For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Feel free to take home some of the fish you catch within size and bag limits. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home to eat. Now that’s dinner!
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your vessel for the day is a 22’ Sundance saltwater fishing boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Some essentials you’ll want to bring are sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you.
