Maggie Joe Sportfishing – Maggie Joe
There’s a fish with your name on it in Kailua-Kona, and Maggie Joe Sportfishing will help you catch it!
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Marlin, Shortbill Spearfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and more with any luck. On these trips, you can expect to troll using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit are yours to take home. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take some of your fish home to eat. How’s that for fresh seafood?
Your boat for the day is a 53’ Offshore sport fishing with room for 15 passengers. It comes with downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials, and there’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available to catch during yours trip.
A First Mate will be there to assist you and make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10%–20% gratuity is customary and much appreciated. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids that are at least 5 years old are welcome aboard! Remember to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that daydream into a reality with Maggie Joe Sportfishing!
