Fourth Generation Charters

1500 Danford Street
Naples FL, United States

Fourth Generation Charters is owned and operated by Captain Spenser, who offers his clients a wide range of fishing options around Naples, Florida. Whether you want to chase Snook, Redfish and Tarpon in the backcountry or travel further out to catch large Grouper, King Mackerel and Snapper up to nine miles offshore, he will help you find the fish of your dreams.

Spenser’s 22 foot Pathfinder is one of the most versatile boats on the market. Able to float in less than a foot of water as well as handling the choppier seas offshore with ease, it provides a very flexible platform for a charter fishing trip. If you’re a skillful fisherman who enjoys jigging or livebait fishing you can work with Capt. Spenser to hunt down Snook, Redfish and Tarpon inshore. If you haven’t fished before or just want to relax, chunk bait fishing or nearshore fishing might be up your street. Both styles can be rewarding, and whichever one you want to do, the boat will get the job done. With a casting platform at the front and the back, up to four anglers can fish in comfort. A large livewell keeps bait fresh, while comfortable padded seating, dry storage and a large cooler will cater for your own personal comfort.

Capt. Spenser has been fishing the waters around Naples his entire life and is eager to show other people why he enjoys fishing so much. He specializes in live bait fishing for Snook and Tarpon but also finds offshore trips for keeper Grouper and Snapper very exciting. While he has fished up to 100 miles West offshore of Naples for Red Snapper and the same distance East for Marlin, his knowledge of the waters directly around Naples are exceptional. A sixth generation Floridian and a fourth generation boat Captain, fishing the waters in the area runs in his blood.

My Name is Captain Spenser Kehoe. I've been fishing since day one and have loved every minute of it so becoming a fishing guide was a no brainer to me. I'm the fourth generation in my family to become a charter captain and couldn't be happier about it. I enjoy the thrill of hooking up to big fish and I'm eager to show others what thats like. My favorite species to fish for are Snook, Tarpon, Redfish and big Grouper.

Our Csptain worked hard and did everything possible to be sure we enjoyed our trip. He tried his best to be sure we found the best fishing spots. We caught lots of fish and thoroughly enjoyed our charter.

Fabulous experience.  Unfortunately the fish were not biting as much as we were hoping for but the weather turned cloudy with rain.  Our Captain was working hard to find the fish and we did get some catch and release fun.  Best of all we learned many tips on Florida fishing,  had a great lunch at Marco Island and our Captain was very attentive to our needs.  Thanks for a great day.

Ist. hour was trying to catch bait. Ran out of bait. We had 4 fishermen and only 2 at a time could fish. We didn’t travel more than very short distance in and around Gordon pass. For the money, I was very disappointed.

I’m very sorry you feel that way. I was sure by the large tip I received that you guys had a great time. As with all my customers, I work very hard to ensure they have a great experience but even with that, I cannot control the obstacles mother nature throws our way. I mentioned I was out an hour and a half before I picked y’all up looking for bait and unfortunately that day it was hard to find. Thats part of the game. You’re going to have easy days and you’re going to have tough days. Once I picked y’all up we did go look for more bait and I thought I did very well by finding enough bait to last us the 5 hours and 45 minutes of a 6 hour trip on such a windy day like that. I remember your grandson Luke having a great time and catching enough fish to where he was told he needed to take a break. As a fishing guide, I am well aware of what constitutes a bad day on the water and to me and that was not one. We caught a good number of Snook and Jacks, lost a few to the mangroves and even had a great fight with a large Jack that took us around the boat a few times. Fishing two anglers at a time in windy conditions is a precaution and not normally what I do. If you don’t mind, please add the pictures we took to this thread. I’d love to see them. Thanks and again, I’m very sorry you were disappointed with our trip.
