If you’re going to cast a line in Slidell, look no further than Pro Edge Fishing Charters. Your guide for the day is Captain Matt, bringing aboard years of knowledge and experience. Depending on the season, you might hook into Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and plenty more.
During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Capt. Matt runs a 24’ Skeeter bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available but is to be paid for by the customer.
Before coming aboard, you may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Bringing sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses is never a bad idea. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
And that’s it! Your fishing trip with Pro Edge Fishing Charters is just a click away.
