Looking to cast a line in Orange Beach? Cagle’s Offshore Charters is here to make it happen! Your guide for the day is Captain Bobby, bringing aboard years of local experience.
These waters are known for Amberjack, Black Grouper, Sailfish, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Rainbow Runner, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Scamp Grouper, Great Barracuda, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
The fish caught are yours to take home, provided they’re legal to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Talk about bang for your buck!
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your boat for the day is the Hakuna Matata, a 30’ Rampage express cruiser that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask.
