Book your next trip with E.l. Watersports and find out what keeps anglers coming back to Nassau for more. Your guide for the day is Captain Ednie, so you’ll benefit from years of local experience.
Species like Great Barracuda, Crayfish, Black Grouper, Red Grouper, Almaco Jack, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Mutton Snapper, and more are in the cards, depending on when you go. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Capt. Ednie operates a 35’ Ocean Master center console with a capacity for 10 passengers. It has all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now’s the time to experience fishing in Nassau for yourself, with E.l. Watersports!
