Pacifictime Sports Fishing
Spend the day with Pacifictime Sports Fishing and find out what the fishing in Cabo San Lucas is all about! Captain Paulo will be your guide, so you’ll benefit from years of local experience.
Explore the local banks, like San Jaime, Punta Gorda banks, San Jose del Cabo, and many more. Pacifictime Sports Fishing will do their best to help you catch the fish of your dreams. Join the crew with a lifelong experience in these waters, still passionate about this sport as the day they started. There’s always time for “just one more” fish with them.
These waters are known for Hogfish, Roosterfish, Mako Shark, Amberjack, Black Marlin, Jack Crevalle, Sierra Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Bonito, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, and more. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Paulo can also have you kite fishing. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep.
Capt. Paulo runs a 34’ Cuddy cabin with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without, plus a toilet on board. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! It’s always wise to bring snacks, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation but avoid glass bottles.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
