Yellowfin tuna, wahoo, bonito, blue marlin, mahi mahi, aiguillette, Pacific barracuda, snapper, blue trevally and many other species can take the bait, depending on conditions. For these species, you’re likely to be trolling and bottom fishing using light or heavy tackle. Please note that the captain makes every effort to preserve the island’s resources, so coral fish will be returned to the water.

Families spending the day on board will be delighted to learn that children (aged 8 and over) are welcome on board! We recommend that you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (without spray) and snacks. Drinks are also available. 

Your fishing boat for the day is a 22-foot center console with room for 3 passengers. Rods, reels and tackle await you, along with lures. Local fishing licenses are not required for all members of your party. Some species may be protected or require a tag to keep, so make sure you know what to expect.

    Ideal for discovering recreational reef fishing. Fishing on the outer reef drop-offs (live, bait, bottom...) for coral species. If we see tuna hunting offshore, we go for it! The reef is very inclined and descends very quickly. Be aware that it is an underwater cliff that starts 100m after the reef, descending quickly to 2000m. So if the wind creates too much drift, we focus only on trolling near the reef We release most reef species to preserve Moorea, but you can choose a meal if you catch one!

    We trolling, in search of large pelagic fish (tuna, marlin, mahi-mahi, bonito, etc.). We look for signs of their presence (driftwood, schools of birds, etc.). Please ensure before booking that you are not prone to seasickness. We have to warn you that fishing is an activity where catches cannot be guaranteed. we will do everything in our power to ensure that this is the case! If we catch, we share pelagic with you .

The reef is very inclined and descends very quickly. Consider that it is an underwater cliff that starts 100m after the reef, descending quickly to 2000m. So if the wind creates too much drift, we only focus on ocean trolling for pelagics If the wind picks up during the day, this outing can be rough and we can get wet.

With a fishing rod in my hand since I was 6 years old, I first fished in the river in France. I've been living in Polynesia for more than 30 years, and I have traveled all over the archipelagos for sportfishing trips and local techniques. My favorites are spinning rods, lures or natural baits, casting, deep sea fishing, and trolling. One of my great pleasures is to introduce fishing to beginners and young people.
