Locked with Lorensen is owned and operated by a local family man, Captain Ryan Lorensen, from the Oswego County area. He offers trips for any NYS freshwater species that you would like to target. There is no experience required to go on one of these trips and even if it’s your first time fishing, Ryan is confident that he can get you hooked up and having a good time.

You’ll be fishing on an 18’ Tracker Targa deep V that accommodates up to 3 guests. This multispecies boat features navigational electronics, a live bait tank, and a cooler.

Your guide Ryan is an expert when it comes to catching trophy Salmon and Trout out of the world-famous Salmon river throughout all of the fall and early spring. During late spring and throughout the summer he runs Charters on Oneida lake and the finger lakes to target Lake Trout, Atlantic Salmon, Tiger Musky, Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Yellow Perch, and many others.

Ryan also does guided ice fishing trips, but that’s a story for the winter.

Welcome to the Walleye capital of New York – Oneida lake. It is estimated that over 1 million adult Walleye are swimming in these waters which makes it a prime place to target these toothy critters.

We use a variety of techniques to target these toothy critters from May to August. Oneida lake is also a robust fishery offering phenomenal Perch and Bass fishing. That’s not all, from 20lb Sheepshead to an elusive Brown Trout you never know what might end up on the other end of your line.

You can chase flags all day and while you wait you can jig for fish using a fish finder inside a warm insulated hut with heaters. We fish for many different species through the ice including but not limited to Northern Pike, Pickerel, Perch, Walleye, Trout, Salmon and Tiger Muskie to name a few. Location depends on targeted species and safe ice so please reach out with any questions. This is a trip you'll never forget!
