Make some memories in Yarmouth and go fishing with Meat Wagon Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Chris is prepared to put you on fish.
You’re likely to fish for Bluefin Tuna, Trophy Door Mat Fluke, Cod, Haddock, Striped Bass, Bluefish, Flounder, Black Seabass, Scup (Porgy), and more if conditions are right.
You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 34’ SeaVee center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. Capt. Chris has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and offering them a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don’t leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Meat Wagon Fishing Charters!
