Your adventure begins aboard a 27’ Bayliner offshore sport fishing vessel with room for 4 passengers 3 is ideal. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Chris will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s recommended to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
