We were able to catch a very decent amount of fish with some heft to them. While not all the spots we experimented with had catches, the ones that did had them coming constantly. Everyone in our group caught multiple fish, most of which were keepers.

The boat he had was big enough to walk in comfortably with a total of five people for the eight hour trip. It was clean when we walked on it; it was clean when we walked off it.

The boat captain was very friendly and genuinely cares about his customers. He engaged with our group and willing to help us if we had any problems. Did an excellent job fileting the fish.

I purchased a 3/4 day fishing trip with Roland Bell for my two nephews.  I was hopeful to create a day of experiences with the boys.  I chose Roland based on his reviews and availability.  Roland was a fortunate choice for our fishing excursion.  Roland was a natural as he navigated the waters of the St. John’s River.  Based on time of year, and weather, he understood where the fish could be found and what species of fish were available in the cooler months of December.  Roland was personable, engaging, and had a fun personality.  He made us feel like we were friends out for a day on the water.  We caught over 30 fish - it was a smashing SUCCESS.  We were catching fish after fish for over 2 hours.  We also caught a large crab and a sting ray.  I couldn’t have found a better captain.  We went home and whipped up the best Tacos ever!  We look forward to another day on the water with Roland when the weather is a bit warmer.  I bet he will have our cooler full - again!  Thank you.

We went out with Roland and had the best fishing trip ever!!! We did a 4 hour trip and he put us on fish right from the start. Caught plenty of fish and highly recommend him for your next trip!!!! Thanks Roland and will definitely book you again when we are back in this area.

2/19 met Roland Bell at the dock, 8 am overcast ,51F river stained from two days of rain. Add 9,10 ,16yo that want to catch. He got us out of wind on backwatèr . Started catching small red drum but the boys had a blast. They were catching . He worked really well with the boys impressed grandpa. They wanted fish for tacos but inlet to jetties to rough. His call was right . Plan B gave ús fillets from yellow mouth trout. So boys had fish tacos for dinner, fish was perfect. Ya considering water condition definitely a win . Will keep his card for future use, thanks Roland.

My boys and I had a great day fishing with Captain Roland. He took us out to many different spots and we caught many different species of fish. He was an excellent guide and was wonderful with my boys. This was our 1st time doing a fishing charter trip and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for us. Thank you Captain Roland!
