The fishing adventure begins the moment you step onto Gone Coastal Charters’ vessel: a brand new 23 ft Sea Hunt Ultra 234. This versatile craft can cater for whatever activity you want to take part in the water, from fishing to pleasure cruising to water skiing. The boat’s amenities include a Lowrance HDS chartplotter and sonar system, a VHF radio and two live wells for your bait and catch. If you’re looking for a sight-seeing charter, don’t book Capt. Jim…UNLESS seeing your rod tips bend every 5 minutes to the sound of screaming drag is what you have in mind.  Capt. Jim took my 12 year old son and me a few miles out to a spot where he obviously knew they would be waiting.  We barely got lines out before we were reeling them in one after another.

After limiting out on Kings, we had time fish the jetty where my son landed a monster 75 lb Cobia.  The only down side to the trip was that Cobia was out of season!

Capt. Jim is not only a great fisherman, but a great guy.  He maintains his equipment very well and knows how to use it.  We will definitely be back.

Thanks for the cooler full of fish and a great time Capt. Jim!
