One of our top picks in Cape Coral. Come Florida Fishing offers inshore and nearshore fishing trips out of Florida’s “Waterfront Wonderland”, Cape Coral. Headed by Captain John, the company charters trips around the surrounding area, heading to famous fishing destinations such as Matlacha, Pine Island, Fort Myers, Estero Bay, Bonita Springs, Sanibel Island, Charlotte Harbor and many more.
You will be fishing aboard a 20 ft Proline center console that is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine. These boats are well known for their quality and fishability, and this one is no exception. Equipped with a GPS and Fishfinder, the boat is well prepared to put you on fish, and the spacious livewell and fish box will keep your bait and catches fresh throughout your trip.
Capt. John mainly targets Redfish, Snook, Trout, Grouper, Shark and Snapper, and he knows where to find the largest specimens. However, if there’s a particular species you would like to target, Capt. John will always do his best to lead you to the fish, whether it is Shark, Permit, Jacks, Flounder, Black Drum or any of the above.
Captain John is a Florida local who loves being part of the beautiful nature of southwest Florida. Not only is he an expert fisherman, he is also a certified scuba diver, which allows him to explore the habitat of the fish more thoroughly than if he were to stick to traveling only by boat. This means that at Come Florida Fishing, you will be shown the best techniques for catching your desired fish and have fun while you’re doing it. A catch cleaning and filleting service is included in the price of the trip.

Captain John was great guy and it was not his fault that we can’t go fishing redfish to magrove because of the hard wind and low water level. We got lot of spotted trouts and get few times a good experiences about very big fishes that finally gones away. I expected to get more species (snook, Snapper, redfish), but becouse of the wind water level was low and it was inpossible to go to mangrove.

Thorough before trip, helpful on the day. Very accommodating throughout and we really enjoyed both the fishing and the experience despite the fact that it was a very wet and stormy day. I would definitely recommend captain John and his fishing trips - he did everything he possibly could to ensure we had an enjoyable day and we certainly did!
