Ready to cast a line in Cabo San Lucas? Make it happen withCarolina Fishing Tours in Cabos.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Amberjack, Goliath Grouper, Black Grouper, Bonito, Jack Crevalle, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Roosterfish, Hammerhead Shark, and whatever else is biting. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Bring your familia, amigos, or just yourself for a great time fishing in Cabos! The captain and crew are always ready to catch dinner or trophy fish. Book now and get a free t-shirt! Remember tours come with water and sodas. Bring sunblock (non-spray) and sunglasses. Smokers are welcome.

Your excursion begins aboard a 28' California that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, 2 fighting chairs, and all the essentials, plus a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. Two fishing licenses are included in the price for the 8-hour trip only. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that daydream into a reality with Carolina Fishing Tours in Cabos.

Fishing in Cabo
8 Hour Trip on December 26, 20252 adults
Juan and his crew took care of us again this year during our annual trip to Cabo. As usual, communication before the trip was excellent and meeting up at the marina on fish day was problem free. Juan handled all details as promised (bait, food, etc.) so we only had to worry about showing up. We targeted roosterfish, dorado, and striped marlin ... we caught roosterfish, dorado, and striped marlin! These folks put us on the fish which is why I always call Juan when in Cabo. Just as important, we always have fun with the crews because they are super friendly and have that unique Mexican sense of humor. Thanks again Juan!

His and Her Marlins
5 Hour Trip on July 24, 20252 adults
We had an amazing half day trip and experience with Carolina. It took about thirty minutes to get out to our first spot for trolling and we were initially targeting Mahi, but after about an hour of trolling a marlin passed by the boat and the captain threw out a line with live bait in the path of the marlin and managed to hook it. It was pretty incredible to watch. Once we landed the first marlin a second marlin hit about thirty minutes later and this time my wife reeled this one in. The crew were incredibly knowledgeable and it was easy to tell they were trying to put us on fish. Additionally, we unexpectedly came upon a pod of dolphins and for about twenty minutes the crew was able to position the boat so the dolphins would swim under and around the boat. Truly an unforgettable trip and we will be looking to use Carolina again. A couple of things to point out. One, you will need to purchase a fishing license which they have available to purchase dockside. It was quick and easy. Secondly, Carolina will coordinate the cleaning of the fish; however you will need to bring some cash for this. The marlin we kept was $30 USD.

amazing fishing trip
5 Hour Trip on November 19, 20254 adults
I booked this fishing trip to catch a bucket list fish-rooster fish. not only did i check roosters off the list, i ended the trip with 2 other fish from my list; an african pompano and a 9 foot 180lb blue marlin. The crew worked extremely hard to put us on fish. I booked a 5 hour trip and i called it after 3.5 hours and headed back to the marina because my arms were hurting from catching fish. on the way in, we stopped and got to see a few whales. overall 11/10 would recommend. this charter company will be my choice every time i am in Cabo.

Cabo Charter Review: Exceeded Expectations & Landed the Targets! (Perfect for First Timers)
5 Hour Trip on November 26, 20251 adult
As a first-time fishing traveler to Cabo, the research process felt overwhelming. After months of reading reviews and balancing budget against reputation, I finally booked a charter. My initial booking was for a panga (the standard budget option), but what I received was a significant upgrade: a larger sport fishing boat equipped with outriggers, spreaders, and a 7-rod setup! This alone set a fantastic tone for the day. The Logistics: Smooth Sailing from Dawn • Meeting Time/Location: Finding the captain at 6:00 AM in the busy, pre-dawn marina was surprisingly easy. Communication and directions were spot-on. • Preparation: The crew was highly efficient. I was immediately set up with my fishing license, fresh gear, plenty of live bait, and ice. We departed right on schedule. The Fishing Action: Non-Stop Success Our captain and crew knew exactly where to go. The results speak for themselves: 1. First Stop: We hit the first site and immediately caught my target Roosterfish! This was a bucket-list catch and happened right away. 2. Second Stop: We swiftly moved to the next area and boated a hard-fighting Wahoo—another fantastic game fish. 3. The Rest of the Trip: The remaining hours of the 5-hour charter were spent trolling and drifting for Marlin, demonstrating a willingness to pursue the big offshore species even after landing the primary targets. Crew & Boat Impression The crew was professional, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout the trip. They clearly understand the local waters and how to put anglers on fish quickly. Getting an unexpected upgrade to a bigger boat made the experience even more comfortable for the run and the fight. Bottom Line: If you are a first-timer feeling anxious about choosing a reliable charter in Cabo, or an experienced angler looking for a professional operation that delivers results, I highly recommend this team. They provided an incredible value for the money and made my dream catches a reality.
