About the Captain
Went fishing on August 26, 2016
Took my wife and two daughters fishing while visiting Isla. We had a great time aboard Comodoro, and Captain Rogalio and mate, Jose, could not have been better. We originally when out deep and trolled for Wahoo and mahi but we’re unsuccessful. We knew a bit off season but was worth a try. Then moved in and bottom fished. Caught grouper, snapper and tiger fish. A good catch! We then moved close to the island, as the captain knew that I had a desire to catch a barraccuda. Within minutes, one was on line. Reeled in a 5 footer, which made the day complete. We only signed up for a half day, but recieved extra time, which was nice. Everyone was happy! Thanks, to the mate for making it all so easy and even diving down to retrieve my daughter’s Ray Bans. We will be back. Highly recommend. One tip…the boat prefers cash. Although listing says Visa, MC, they charge a fee to make up for credit charges. I had to run back to hotel for cash as I did not have an extra 500. on me.
