Captain Whit Edmonds – Cooper River
Captain Whit Edmonds is here to show you the stunning, quiet, and nature-filled waters of Cooper River! Captain Whit comes from 24 years of lifelong inshore and Bass fishing and also toured the country Bass fishing during college with 4 National Championship appearances!
The Cooper River is a very unique fishery where freshwater game fish and saltwater species often times swim together! You will have the option to Bass fish in endless fields of Hydrilla or just down the river have a great day catching Redfish, Sea Trout, Flounder, and Striper. At certain times of the year, we can also do Bass and Redfish combination trips upon request. Remember these trips are fully customizable in order to give you the best experience!
Capt. Whit runs a 19’ Nitro Z-18 bassboat that can carry up to 2-3 passengers. While this boat is designed for bass, the similarity of redfish make it and incredible and prefered choice for redfishing as well for Whit. This boat is built for speed, stealth, and getting into the shallowest waters to catch fish while also handling rough water well. It is also rigged with Garmin sonars featuring the latest technology to help stay around fish all day and sometimes even see fish eat the lures in real time! Other features include, live wells, cooler and adjustable rod holders. The extra large fishing decks allow people to spread out more while we fish.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is also available to fish with. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock. We provide water however, if you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol and tobacco also are allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor.
We encourage you to give us a call ask questions and any accommodations you need and are happy to provide a fishing report. Fishing licenses will be included for all saltwater trips.
