Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Walleye, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.

Trips with Sure Thing Charters are great for kids, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Capt. Steve runs a 17’ Lund aluminum fishing boat with space for 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods and reels and bait are supplied for you.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group above the age of 16. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. Water is supplied but If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard
liquor as well as glass bottles.
