We booked an 8 hour fishing, snorkeling and sightseeing tour with Catch My Drift. I thought that I was ambitious trying to get all three activities in an 8 hour day. Murray was able to tailor our trip to ensure we experienced the best the Whitsundays had to offer. He was knowledgeable, experienced and knew all the unique and quiet spots to explore. Although the fish were being a little shy, we managed to snag a stunning coral trout. I would highly recommend Murray for anyone looking for an exceptional Whitsundays experience.

Captain Murray was happy to take us anywhere we wanted to go and showed us all the best fishing spots and took us to Whitehaven beach island where my fiancé and I were left to explore the beach. We took many photos of the beautiful scenery from the top of the lookout on the beach. We didn’t catch any fish unfortunately but it was just the wrong day for it due to the weather and timing but my fiancé did manage to catch a lovely small fish which we threw back into the ocean. Captain Murray kept up a running commentary about the history of the Whitsundays and surrounding islands and fishing stories which was very informative and interesting.

amazing experience, had two of my family members onboard who had never fished before and Murray was really patience with them and guided them through the day, helping them catch their first fish. Also lucky enough to see dolphins, turtles and mantaray along with many other protected species. 100% recommended

Can’t recommend Murray highly enough. Worked hard to put us on the fish and tried every method you can think of. Boat is in amazing condition. Murray is clearly an avid fisherman, he shared in the excitement with every fish!

Murray is an awesome captain and put us on the fish early with 5 Nannygai. When things got a bit slower he took us to every spot and was trying his best to give us every opportunity. Such a fun day highly recommend.
