If you’re in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Southern Angler Fishing Charter. Captain Kevin will be your guide, so you’ll benefit from years of sportfishing experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, Black Drum, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, and whatever else takes the bait. On these trips, you can expect to bottom fish using light tackle.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Capt. Kevin welcomes you aboard a 23’ Skeeter bay boat with room for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with Southern Angler Fishing Charter is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
