Jac Sportfishing Charters
Jac Sportfishing Charters has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Long Island in Freeport, New York. With Captain Vincent at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Cod, Flounder, Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Tilefish, Blue Marlin, Swordfish, and who knows what else!
You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Vincent welcomes children aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You’ll be casting lines from a luxury 44’ offshore sport fishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license for the day, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you, beer and wine is permitted. Hard alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted. There will be some light snacks included on board.
Now, time to hit the water with Jac Sportfishing Charters!
