There’s a fish with your name on it in Bay City, and Fish Junky Charter will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jt knows them forwards and back.
These waters are known for Walleye. With any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. You can expect to do trolling and maybe some light tackle fishing.
You’ll be dropping lines from a 26’ Walkaround with a capacity for 4 passengers plus crew. It has everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Child-sized life vests are available. Some days my dog is on the boat with me. If you have a pet allergy, please let me know so I can make accommodations and clean the boat.
Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group (Kids 16 and younger do not need a license). This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s always wise to bring a camera, appropriate clothing for the weather, and a cooler to take fish home in. Please remember the weather on the bay can change fast. You are welcome to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with Saginaw Bay Walleye is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
