Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing run fishing charters on Chesapeake Bay from April until December launching from Queen Anne Marina in Stevensville, Maryland, as well as on the waters of Virginia Beach from December to March out of Inlet Station Marina, Rudee Inlet.
The newest addition to their fleet, the 46 ft ‘Vagabond’, has been recently restored and is custom built to fish these waters. She is powered by twin 250HP Volvo engines, and comes equipped with Radar, GPS, Fish Finder, VHF radio, heating, toilet, stereo system, as well as a live bait tank. With a large and wide deck, she has ample space for up to six anglers to get comfortable.
Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing specialize in fishing with light and heavy tackle, bottom fishing, and trolling. They use a range of quality Penn and Okuma reels matched with Ande rods, and are equipped with over 70 combinations for various styles of fishing. Their full day trips depart either in the morning or afternoon, and mostly target Spanish Mackerel, Striped Bass and Bluefish. Trips include rods, reels and terminal tackle, lures, live bait, and fishing licenses, while cleaning and filleting of your catch is included in the Mate’s tip.
Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing can arrange alternate pickup and drop off points on Chesapeake Bay or its tributaries. They can also organize your next special occasion, including birthdays, bachelor parties, corporate events and team building, booze cruises, as well as scenic Bay and Lighthouse tours, and offer catering packages at an additional cost.
