Hoping to catch some fish in Muskegon? JRB Sportfishing is here to make it happen!
These waters are known for Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Steelhead, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, and more. On these trips, you can expect to troll. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. The crew can even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!
Your USCG-approved fishing vessel for the day is a 34’ Pursuit Express with room for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water, plus there’s a toilet on board. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, do not worry, the captain will provide them for your convenience. Drinks and snacks are always a good idea to bring, but please do not bring any glass bottles aboard. Some essentials to carry are sunglasses, sunscreen, your favorite beverage, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.
