Capt. Conch Charters - Conchenstein
If fishing in Key West is on your bucket list, look no further than Capt. Conch Charters.
These waters hold game fish like Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Bonito, and more, depending on when you go.
For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Capt. Conch Charters welcomes kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your boat for the day is a 35’ Offshore sport fishing with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Capt. Conch Charters!
