If you’re ready to experience fishing on the Nanticoke, Wicomico, and other tributaries on the lower eastern shore, then book a trip with Nanticoke Outfitters Sportfishing. Having logged many hours on these rivers, Captain David can tell you all about the local fishery. Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Catfish, White Perch, Snakehead, Crab, Crappie, Striped Bass, and whatever else takes the bait. On these trips, it’s common to cast, troll, and bottom fish using light tackle.

Nanticoke Outfitters Charter Fishing is always child-friendly, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Captain Dave has 5 sons of his own, so he’s been fishing with kids on a regular basis for the last 20 years! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, no worries because we have some on board. And you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Your boat for the day is a 25’ Custom center console with space for 6 passengers. We were busy this winter updating a few things onboard such as a new Suzuki 350hp Motor, new upholstery, new canvas, and new electronics! You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with bait. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip!

The First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation. Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Bring sunblock, a hat, drinks, snacks, and sunglasses. Water bottles are included, free of charge, and we have an ice chest filled with ice. Beer is ok, but PLEASE no glass bottles or hard liquor.

There's something special about spending an evening on the water watching the sun setting over the western shore. As a bonus, the fish are really active at sunset so we will certainly put some fish in the box too if that's what you want to do... or you can chill out and take it all in. Bring your own beverages, but no glass bottles!

Be sure to bring a cooler to take your catch home with you if you plan to eat them later. This is a kid-friendly trip, but please know that all caught snakeheads will be terminated and kept in a cooler. Snakeheads must be killed by hitting them on the head. Parents might not want young children to see this. There is no bleeding involved.

Captain has been casting for Rockfish since the early 80s and knows some great spots for live-lining baits and casting for Rockfish. This is a casting trip where we find schools of rockfish and cast to them while they are feeding or locate schools and jig for them in depths up to 60 feet. Depending on the time of year, we may or may not will be keeping our catch.
