Pelagic Beast Fishing
If you’re ready to discover fishing in Stamford, book a trip aboard the Pelagic Beast. Having logged many hours on these waters, your Captain can tell you all about them.
Top targets include Striped Bass, Bluefish, Tautog, Flounder, Porgy, Black Seabass, and Weakfish. Seasons and targeted fish vary. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. The crew can even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Child-sized life vests are available, or you can bring your own. Bring plenty of snacks and drinks. Ask about our kid’s fishing camp all summer long!
Your coast guard licensed Captain and First Mate welcome you aboard a 31’ Downeast that holds up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. It’s customary to tip the First Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It’s always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that daydream into a reality with Pelagic Beast Fishing.
