Description

Tampa Bay is famous for its superb year round fishery, where the combination of light tackle, shallow water and live and artificial bait makes for explosive strikes and drag pulling fun. Florida Guides Association members Capt. Christian Minami and Capt. Kenny Smith are eager to show you what it’s all about!

Fishing aboard a 19 ft Kenner, the company is well equipped to access the inshore waters of Tampa Bay and the surrounding area. The boat is fitted with a 150 HP Mercury engine, allowing it to travel quickly to the best fishing spots, while a Mini Kota trolling water allows it to approach the spooky inshore species quietly and discreetly. Top of the range gear is supplied on board, including a Power Pole anchoring system and Lowrance electronics. There is also plenty of dry storage for all your personal items.

Inshore Society primarily fishes for the most sought after inshore species of western Florida: the Snook, Redfish and Speckled Trout. They can also target Mangrove Snapper, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Tripletail and Jack Crevalle. They fish with good quality Penn and Shimano tackle, using both live bait and artificials to attract their target species, depending on the conditions and the customer’s wishes.

Inshore Society will provide everything you need for a productive day on the water, including fishing licenses, tackle, bait, ice, cold drinks and snacks. They will also clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day, should you want to take it home for a tasty dinner. All they suggest you bring is a pair of polarized sunglasses, sunscreen and suitable clothing and shoes for a day on the water.

Capt. Cristian Minami and Capt. Kenny Smith providing inshore fishing charters to the Tampa Bay area. Growing up in Tampa Bay fishing became our passion at a young age. Participating in local fishing tournaments and fishing events brought us closer to the fishing industry. As we got older and gained more experienced on the water we decided to get our Captains Licenses and started Inshore Society LLC a fishing charter company directed at guiding anglers in the Tampa Bay area. our main focus as a charter Captain is to provide clients with a once in a lifetime fishing experience that will be memorable for the rest of their life.

Gwen, thank you for booking with Fishing Booker and Inshore Society. I’m glad the guys enjoyed the charter. Shawn and Brent are both great anglers and made my job easy. Till next time tight lines.
